I'm Jessica Ramirez. I joined Barrel of Monkeys in January of 2020 and have been blessed to work with many different age levels and families along the way. In January of 2024 I was blessed to be offered the Director position and have loved every moment of it since. I have a passion for children and their growth, and it has been such a joy getting to watch many different children grow and learn throughout the years.

My husband Daniel and I have been together since 2014 and we have three children. We enjoy spending our time as a family, going to the beach, and doing all of the things outside.

I earned my Associate’s degree in 2018 and after joining BOMCA, I also earned my Child Development Associate in October 2023 and I am currently working towards my Bachelor’s degree. I look forward to working closely with all our families.

Hi, my name is Angelica. I have two lovely children and husband. I love spending my free time outdoors and cooking new recipes. I’m currently going to school for medicine. I’ve been in childcare for 7 years and received my Child Development Associate in infants and toddlers in 2023. Proverbs 3:5-6.

Hello, I am Carrington. I’ve been with BOMCA since January of 2022 and I completed my Child Development Associate in June of 2023. I can honestly say that I love every part of my job. I love seeing the kids finding themselves in Jesus and growing a relationship with him. I love reading, singing, and going to church.

My name is Megan. I am an Infant teacher and began working at BOMCA in June of 2023. I earned my Child Development Associate in February of 2024. I have two daughters, who are my world. My hobbies include reading and spending time with my family. I love getting the opportunity to watch the kids learn and grow from day-to-day. I may have two children of my own but I am beyond blessed to come to work every day and take care of so many little loves.

Hi, my name is Elizabeth. I am one of the teachers in Nursery and I have earned my Child Development Associate. I’m a mom to three wonderful kiddos. My interests and hobbies include reading, going bowling, any outdoor activity and spending time with my kids and family. The thing that I love most about working with children is witnessing the energy and joy that they bring to class each day.

My name is Ashley Nichols. I have been with Barrel of Monkeys since May of 2018. In that time I have had the pleasure of working with all ages and have also been able to earn my Child Development Associate. What I love about working in childcare is getting to watch children discover something new and their personalities grow.

Hello, I am Jodee and I am new to BOMCA yet I already love it. I am beyond excited to start this venture that God is leading me on to help grow and educate these little loves. I am a devoted wife and mother of two, also continuing my own education through Western Governor’s University, in hopes to be a helping hand in the homeschooling communities in our area. Hey! I’m Miranda and I am a Preschool teacher. I have been with BOMCA since September of 2023 but have been a caregiver to children for many more years. I have my Child Development Associate credential along with being a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant and Xray Technician. I love being with BOMCA because I get to see all your babies hit all of their milestones, watching them grow and learn. I love developing relationships with our babies and their parents, it’s like one big family. Thank you for sharing your little humans with us!

Hi! My name is Whitney. I am happily married to a wonderful man and I have two children. I love working with children of all ages, and have been working for Barrel of Monkeys since November of 2023. I love it, the kids are awesome, and we have an amazing team! I am currently working on earning my Child Development Associate. I see so much progress and growth in these children everyday. Hi, I’m Mariah and I am one of the teachers in Preschool. I have three kids and I’m married to my husband of 3 years. My hobbies include photography, cooking, and spending time with my family. I’m a recent graduate at Tarleton State University and I plan on being an elementary school teacher one day. I love working with children because I get to experience watching them grow into their little personalities and learn something new everyday.

My name is Gylliana. I’ve been a part of the BOMCA family since March of 2022 and I’ve absolutely loved seeing the kids grow/teaching them. I earned my Child Development Associate in August of 2023 and I am one of the Pre-K 3 teachers. My current hobbies are reading and painting. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my little boy and going on walks or relaxing at home.

I have 2 children and have been with their father for 10 years. I am born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas and have always had a passion for teaching young minds. Hello, my name is Laura, and I am the Kinder 4 teacher. I’ve been in childcare for nine years and with BOMCA since May of 2018. I have worked with multiple different age levels in my time here. I have a son. In October of 2023 I received my Child Development Associate. I love being able to watch my class grow and learn and it’s been fun getting to watch so many different children grow up throughout the years.

Hello, my name is Maria, but mostly known as Ms. “Ria” from what the kids like to call me. I have been working in childcare for 8 years and with BOMCA since May of 2018 and in 2023 I earned my Child Development Associate. My favorite age group to work with would be the 3-5 year olds and watching them grow— whether it be learning how to write their name or learning how to read. In my free time you will mostly catch me relaxing or spending time with my family.

My favorite hobby is to read books and hangout with friends and family as well. My favorite thing about working with kids is getting to experience the milestones they get to go through and also giving them all my love.

Hello, my name is Austin. I have been with BOMCA since August of 2023. I’m have been able to work with the preschool age as well as with nursery and infants. I have a daughter and another baby girl on the way. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, coloring and going to church. I’m also currently going to school for dental assisting.

Hi, I’m Kym. I am the cook and I have been doing this professionally for four years. I have my Texas Food Handlers License. I love working at BOMCA because I make sure that the future generations get a good balance of nutrition. I have 3 kids and 4 grandkids. When I’m not at work I enjoy reading and going for walks with my husband.

I am the bookkeeper and office manager for BOMCA and am Brandi’s mother. My main duties include the bookkeeping and payroll, but I am also responsible for BOMCA computers and network. I am retired from the National Weather Service where I was the Cyber Internet Specialist. I enjoy quilting and watching the Hallmark channel. I love BOMCA and can’t wait for its next chapter.
