Christopher and Brandi Swelling have been the owners of Barrel Of Monkeys Christian Academy since 2011. Brandi majored in Child Development in college prior to working for Child Protective Services for 13 years. Christopher was an electrician working in large business construction in Las Vegas. Although they had been friends in high school, they both followed separate paths after graduation and began dating when Christopher returned to the Fort Worth area. They are the happy parents to four children; Colton 19, Caden 16, and Malachi and Cooper are almost two years old. The Swelling family enjoys many outside activities including fishing, boating, playing driveway basketball, scooter races, and stroller walking. You can often times see them at various team sports for their children.

Christopher and Brandi have strong Christian beliefs and incorporate the A Beka biblically-based curriculum, textbooks, and teaching aids for their Preschool.
