Kinder 5

Our Kinder 5 class comes loaded with opportunities for educational growth! In this class your child will further enhance their skills in writing through sentence formation and learning the differences in capital letters and punctuation. Phonics lessons that include blends, sight words, vowel sounds, and letter pronunciation to lay out the foundation in their reading skills.

A Beka introduces basic math to our children as well. The children will learn simple addition and subtraction to begin their arithmetic skills for Kindergarten!

Arts and crafts always come with a fun lesson such as learning about the history of the Mayflower and independent lessons on drawing items such as a boat, house or the way children see their teacher— these lessons allow each child to build on their imagination and inner artist!

Our children will have lessons in Social Studies from what jobs make a city and community function and work together and the different countries that make up our beautiful world.

An exciting new addition to curriculum this Fall is Spanish! The class will learn their colors, shapes, manners, family members, and so much more in Spanish!

Bible lessons are also incorporated in this class and the children will further develop their relationship with God!
